The Colors of Excellence will help independent schools as they continue to face the challenge of hiring and retaining faculty of color. The findings are based on a five-year Columbia University study and include moving testimonials from both faculty and students of color. It also includes guidelines and questions designed to help educators close the faculty diversity gap.
