DESCRIPTION
The second edition of Looking Ahead offers more than 60 essays on six topics that leading educators in independent schools feel represent the vital areas of interest and concern: finance, faculty, communications, curriculum, culture and community, and technology. It is an invitation to educators to collaborate on issues that continue to challenge the community. NAIS President Patrick F. Bassett and co-editor Craig Thorn of Phillips Andover Academy collected the essays to serve as a workbook for teachers, administrators, parent committees, members, trustees, and donors, to help them see their everyday challenges in the larger framework of the independent school movement.
